He completed his Ph.D in January 2007 on ‘Co-axial
electrohydrodynamic atomization of suspensions’ through
Queen Mary University of London, UK. YashNanotech appointed
him for the handling of project regarding the ‘Design,
fabrication of an injection system for patterning of metal
cup structures’ and ‘Inkjet printing of nanomaterial
inks’ under the Department of Chemical and Material Science
with Dr. G.U. Kulkarni as the supervisor. This project is
sponsored by YashNanotech. To his credits he owes 3 publications
and presentations. Micro and nanotechnology innovation and
commercialization are his main area of interest. He is an
efficient Research Scientific Officer with several awards
in his cap. They are mentioned below:
1. He was awarded with Queen Mary Material’s departmental
scholarship for full fee waiver for his PhD, based on academic
performances during his MSc.
2. He has research expertise in electrospraying, electrically
forced jetting and electrospinning techniques.
3. He has research expertise in ceramic, & polymer suspension
processing plus characterization techniques
4. He has expertise in using optical microscope, SEM and TEM
techniques.
5. He has excellent investigation skills on microstructures
and fibers.
6. He has guided 2 final year students on MRes project on
electrohydrodynamic atomisation.
